Educational Program Registration
Registration for the Educational Program is separate from the main conference. The Educational Program registration fee is $100 USD for attendees.

Registration additional notes
- After you register for the conference, it may take a few days to activate your fNIRS 2026 subscription. You will be able to view limited-access webpages only after your subscription is activated. Activation is done manually, and you will receive an email once it is completed. If you cannot access those pages after 2 days, please email admin@fnirs.org.
- Postdoctoral fellows should register under the Faculty/Industry category.
- Students must provide a letter from their advisor or other proof of student status.
- In-person registration includes access to all presentations and all virtual conference components.
- Virtual registration includes access to the online conference components.
Membership
For the society member rates, membership must be valid through October 19, 2026.

- If you are not yet a member, please visit https://fnirs.org/membership/ to become a SfNIRS member.

Refund policy
- Refunds can be made only if the registrant notifies the conference organizers of the cancellation by September 15, 2026. All funds will be reimbursed except for a cancellation fee of $25 USD.
- Because the conference includes virtual access components, no refunds will be granted for cancellations after September 15, 2026.
- If the event shifts to a fully virtual format, all registrations will be converted to virtual registration, and the cancellation policy will apply to any termination requests.
- Last-minute in-person cancellations due to illness or inability to obtain a visa will be converted to the virtual registration rate. Proof may be required.
